Meet Glenda DeMatty, MS, MHP, NCC, LMHC, CCTS-I, CIMHP
I am a Mental Health Professional (MHP) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington (LMHC; License# LH61128052), and I am a Board Certified Counselor (NCC; ID# 744245). I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University’s CACREP accredited program.
I have been working in human and social services for more than ten years, and have developed a passion for helping adults discover their personal strengths and develop their own toolbox of skills and strategies for managing life’s joys and struggles.
I specialize in trauma, am a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist - Individual (CCTS-I), and I am trained in somatic and attachment focused EMDR therapy. Using a holistic approach, I help people learn about connections between mind, body, and spirit and how to create balance in mental, physical, and emotional health. I am also a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP), and enjoy helping people find alternative methods for mental wellness, including with nutrition and essential oils.
My practice is sex-positive and affirming of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and relationship models.
